Alex Armour, DO, FACC
Dr. Alex Armour is board certified in internal medicine and cardiology by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Armour graduated from medical school at Midwestern University - Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. His postdoctoral training included a residency in internal medicine at Lutheran General Hospital in Chicago and a cardiology fellowship at Plaza Medical Center in Fort Worth, where he served as Chief Fellow.
Harvinder Arora, MD, MPH
Dr. Harvinder Arora is board certified in internal medicine, interventional cardiology and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He holds additional certifications in cardiac catheterizations and peripheral interventions.
Dr. Arora is a graduate of All India Institute of Medical Sciences and received his master’s degree from Harvard School of Public Health. He completed his medical residency in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and served a cardiology fellowship at Texas Heart Institute in Houston. Evan Hardegree, MD, FACC
Dr. Evan Hardegree started his academic studies in Abilene at Abilene Christian University. He then received his medical degree at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine. His internal medicine residency was done at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and he completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Scott and White Memorial Hospital and Texas A&M Health Science Center.
Nageswari (Nancy) Daggubati, MD, FACC
Dr. Nancy Daggubati is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has an additional certification in cardiovascular disease. Dr. Daggubati received her medical degree from Kakatiya Medical College in Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, India, and completed a residency in internal medicine at Guntur General Hospital in Guntur, India. She completed a second residency in internal medicine at Brooklyn-Cumberland Hospital in New York, as well as an externship in internal medicine at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in New York. Dr. Daggubati completed her fellowship in cardiology at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in New Jersey. She is a fellow in the American College of Cardiology.
Mark Lawrence, DO, FACC, FSCAI
Dr. Mark Lawrence received his bachelor’s degree from Chico State and his master’s from Texas A&M University. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at University of North Texas. He then went on to work at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center for 24 years. Dr. Lawrence is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Coronary Angiography.
Larry W. Lin, MD, FACC
Dr. Larry Lin is board certified in internal medicine, interventional cardiology and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has an additional certification in nuclear cardiology. Dr. Lin received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed his residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, as well as a general cardiology fellowship at the University of California – Irvine Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Good Samaritan Hospital in California. Dr. Lin is a fellow in the American College of Cardiology.
Chris McClish, MD
Dr. Chris McClish is board certified in interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has additional certifications in cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology. Dr. McClish earned his medical degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, and served his residency, internship and cardiology fellowship at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. He also completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
Nikunji (Nik) I. Patel, MD
Dr. Patel is board certified in internal medicine, interventional cardiology and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has an additional certification in nuclear cardiology. Dr. Patel earned a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom and completed 30 months post-graduate Intern-Resident in specialties of general surgery, general medicine, radiation therapy, oncology, emergency medicine and family practice in the United Kingdom. He completed his residency in internal medicine at East Tennessee State University and Dishner College of Medicine in Tennessee, and completed a fellowship in invasive and non-invasive cardiology at St. Mary Medical Center in California.
Udaya Shankar Swarna, MD, FACC
Dr. Udaya Swarna is board certified in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Swarna received a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, as well as completed an internship in internal medicine at J.J.M. Medical College in India. He completed a second internship in internal medicine at Wayne State University in Michigan. Dr. Swarna also completed a residency in internal medicine, as well as a fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology and pacing at Baylor College of Medicine. He completed a fellowship in electrophysiology at Philadelphia Heart Institute in Pennsylvania. Dr. Swarna is a fellow in the American College of Cardiology.
Gorman M. Thorp, MD, FACC
Dr. Gorman Thorp is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has an additional certification in interventional cardiology. He earned a medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in cardiology at Scott & White Memorial Hospital. Dr. Thorp is a fellow in the American College of Cardiology.
Joji Jacob Varghese, MD, FACC, FSCAI
Dr. Joji Varghese is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He earned a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Surgery in India. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Southern Illinois University, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Varghese completed a cardiovascular fellowship at Scott & White Memorial Hospital, as well as an interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Arkansas. Dr. Varghese is a fellow in the American College of Cardiology.
Ren Zhang, MD, PhD
Dr. Ren Zhang is board certified in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine and holds additional certifications in adult echocardiogram and nuclear cardiology. He earned a medical degree from Peking Union Medical College in Beijing, P.R. China. Dr. Zhang completed his residency in internal medicine from St. Vincent Catholic Medical Center in New York and performed a fellowship in cardiology at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Additionally, Dr. Zhang earned a doctorate of philosophy from the University of Miami School of Medicine’s Department of Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology in Florida.
